About Me:
NITYA HARI is a passionate dancer, choreographer, and emcee with over 12 years of experience in the world of Bollywood dance. Her journey began in her own garage, where she transformed her love for Bollywood dance into a thriving dance school that now boasts over 175 students of all ages.
The Journey:
- Founding Story: NITYA HARI’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish Bollywood Dancing Stars more than a decade ago. What started as a small-scale venture in her garage has blossomed into a vibrant community of dance enthusiasts.
- Diverse Student Base: With a commitment to inclusivity, NITYA HARI welcomes students from all walks of life. From toddlers to seniors, her studio resonates with the rhythm of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Location: Bollywood Dancing Stars now operates from its own dedicated location in Katy, Texas. The studio’s vibrant atmosphere reflects NITYA HARI’s vision of creating a space where creativity knows no bounds.
Achievements:
- Prestigious Performances: NITYA HARI’s choreography and dance performances have graced some of the most prestigious events in the region. Whether it’s a cultural festival, charity gala, or corporate function, Bollywood Dancing Stars always steals the show. BDS performed multiple times at the Rockets Half time show, performed dance drama at George R Brown Convention center and her student’s feature and win regularly at local events organized by JOSH, RIICAS, SEWA International etc.
- Community Impact: Beyond the stage, NITYA HARI actively engages with the community. She conducts workshops, masterclasses, and outreach programs, spreading the joy of dance far and wide. Her students have won at a lot of awards in various dance evens across the country.

- Emcee: NITYA HARI’s magnetic stage presence and eloquence make her an exceptional emcee. She effortlessly connects with the audience, adding a personal touch to every event. She was a well-known and sought after Radio Jockey at Andhra Mirchi, the popular Telugu radio show in Houston.

Meet our team
My name is Priyanka. I joined Bollywood Dancing Stars as a dancer. And now I’m a teacher and choreographer here. I trained formally in kuchipudi for years. And try to blend tradition with Bollywood flair. I love and adore choreographing for kids, nurturing their talents and fostering a love for dance.
Here at BDS, we aim to spark creativity and discipline from a young age. With a dedication to preserving cultural heritage and empowering young dancers, we’re committed to inspiring the next generation of performers.

My name is Chandrika Iyer. I am a Dance enthusiast . I have always been passionate about dancing since my childhood especially when it comes to Bollywood Style. As a child, the love and gift to dance came to me like a birthright. As a child I danced spontaneously and experienced how creativity occurs in the moment, timelessly and freely. To dance was life and it was just what I did. I joined Bollywood Dancing Stars as a student in 2019. Along the way, my teacher(Nithya Hari) saw a spark in me and trusted me with the younger students and I was hired as an assistant teacher at BDS.
As a dancer and a teacher, other than techniques my area of focus mainly is towards facial expressions and maintaining high level energy which takes the dance to next level.
At BDS our vision is to make dance accessible to all age groups and make the journey of learning dance fun and a life changing experience.

My name is Sneha. I love dancing and it has been my passion since childhood. I joined Bollywood Dancing Stars as a dancer and started helping Nithya Hari in various events and shows. Now I am part of the core team and help BDS in all the events that we do. While enjoying and learning dancing, I also enjoy being part of the core team and helping out wherever and Whenever the team needs me.
